No matter how busy I get, Fiona refuses to stop growing!

This little girl


turns six months old today, and is now tall enough to touch the ceiling!


And so, like every young woman, she must learn to earn her keep. Being a long-haired cat, Fiona is considering a career in the fiber industry. (that or bug exterminator, she's keeping her options open)
We start by predrafting the wool


(no wool was ingested in the predrafting process)


and then learn all about the mechanics of the spinning wheel!



The wheel was in motion during her exploration. Growing up with an adoring pit bull has warped her survival instincts.

(please ignore the mess, I was trying out a new location for the wheel, but the wheel is a bit bigger than I realized and so doesn't fit there without expelling several other things from their hiding places and putting them in plain, and ugly, view)
